The issue here is several well known software packages can and do stop TCP/IP packets (the stuff being sent to scales on wireless or wired ethernet) from getting to the scales. These software packages have there own firewall and prevent packets of data from getting to your scale. Please be aware that our software does not have a way of working around this. You must contact the software provider to open TCP/IP ports for our software, and the scales. Please understand we will not provide support of third party firewalls, virus software or other hard/soft methods that are installed or in use. We will instruct you to contact these manufacturers to open these ports which are typically:

6000, 3000, 2305 others may be needed to allow proper use of GENESIS GWARE or other products.

Remember to always have a local computer person that knows and understands these products to help aid you.
